The Bounce Into Health program was developed by Put Children First, Inc. using a grant from the Mattel Children's Foundation. This program will enhance the physical education our students receive.
Our program is slowly progressing to the point that it will actually be in use. The bouncy tents or moonwalk tents that had been on order since November finally arrived from the manufacturer around the first of June. We will be training operators this summer. The program should be up and running for the start of the 2006-2007 school year!!!! The Bounce Into Health program will be in the Diana and Hacker Valley schools one day per week for the students to use to enhance the physical education programs.
We are hoping to have the tents at a few area events during the summer months so that our students will know about the program before it starts in the fall.
