Here is the latest news about Put Children First, Inc.

• In the past we have done several projects at Hacker Valley School to help our local Board of Education during times of budget constraints.
  
• We have put a new roof on the building. The original building had a flat roof; and seeing that we are in snow country, it was a leaky roof. The new roof we
  installed has a nice pitch which is more practical for our climate.
  
• We have also raised funds to have a new well drilled which has saved our county money on water treatment.
  
• We have made contacts that delivered a tractor trailer load of new books to our county and we coordinated through the Webster County Board of Education to have books taken to all five of our county schools.
  
• We are currently in the process of raising funds to replace our existing classroom structure. It is a modular trailer of sorts that was pulled in around 1967 and is
  showing it's ineffiency for modern technology. It is also showing normal signs of aging.
  In order to help our Board of Education save money on heating and maintenance,
  we have undertaken the replacement project.
